One of the areas that is easy to overlook is our need, as moms, and as homeschool moms, is our own personal spiritual walk.  Our lives are full of nurturing others.  Yet, if we don't feed ourselves spiritually, we will not have enough to minister to those around us.

We need to take the time and have a way of nurturing ourselves in the most important relationship we have...our relationship with our Lord and Savior is Jesus Christ.

In today's podcast, Connie Albers, of www.conniealbers.com, talks with me about ways that we can nurture our spiritual walk and relationship while still fulfilling our relationships with the Lord.

Connie Albers has spent much of her adult life as a homeschool mom and mom-preneur with an outreach and ministry to homeschool parents and teens through her leadership and as a speaker. She is a respected leader and trusted homeschool mom who understands the challenges of balancing the demands of a homeschool life. Connie is a wife and mother of five homeschool graduates. Her children continued their studies at the University of Central Florida on scholarship. Four have graduated and one is a senior. She is a speaker and writer, a spokesperson, an active leader and owner of ConnieAlbers.com. Her latest venture is inspiring others to embrace their calling at Equipped To Be and with her site. The Albers family lives in Winter Garden, Florida.

Now in her 16th year of homeschooling, Tricia faces a daily dose of chaos with five children. She just celebrated her first homeschool graduate! She is author of You ARE an Artist curriculum for all ages at http://www.chalkpastel.com/, a cookbook series and helpful homeschool habits at Hodgepodge http://www.hodgepodge.me/. She and her husband, Steve, are also owners of The Curriculum Choice http://www.thecurriculumchoice.com/ making homeschool decisions easy for you!

In today's podcast, Tricia and I discuss the challenge of having something ready to eat at the end of a long day of back-to-school.  What to feed the masses after working so hard at just homeschooling our kids can be a challenge.  Yes, we aim for back to school with supplies, planning and prep. But often what sidetracks us is the lack of supper on the table!

Tricia is also a speaker at our upcoming Your Best Homeschool Year Ever Virtual Summit at www.theendinmind.net on July 15th.  This is an event you do not want to miss.
